Information We Collect About You
Information You Provide. We collect information that you provide when you as a parent or student fill out the Informed Consent, Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, and Grievance form.
The information that you provide us can include, but is not limited to:

Information provided by you when are onboarded in the Intake process, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and other registration information.
How We Use Information We Collect
We may use the information we collect for a number of purposes, including but not limited to:

providing you with services or information you request;

contacting you about the schedule of programming at JIFF or any changes to transportation or programming that may be taking place.

delivering information about services that may be of benefit or interest to you.
As a parent or student of JIFF, you opt in to receiving SMS text messages from JIFF for the above reasons. Your phone number and personal information will never be shared to a third party for marketing purposes.

Photo Release and Confidentiality Agreement
Your child's involvement with JIFF, as a result of juvenile delinquency, will remain confidential. All JIFF employees and volunteers sign a confidentiality agreement. The work of JIFF, Inc. cannot be accomplished without the generous support of our families and communities. It is important for us to share the vision and mission of JIFF Programs. By sharing photographs of meaningful moments of work done through the JIFF employees, we hope to stir the community to invest in the lives of the Memphis community and its youth. By signing the Photo Release and Confidentiality Agreement with JIFF, you give permission to JIFF, Inc. to use any videotape, photographs, audiotapes, or any other visual or audio reproduction in which your child appears for this purpose and by nature of their involvement at JIFF, disclosing their involvement with Juvenile Court. You release JIFF, Inc. from any recruitment, or fundraising program.
E-Mentoring Release Agreement
By signing the agreement with JIFF, you give permission to allow your child to participate in e-mentoring that includes technology-assisted interactions with JIFF staff and volunteers that includes but is not limited to video conferencing ( e.g., Zoom), texts, emails, chats, or other technology forums ( e.g., video discussion platform -Flipgrid). During times of social distancing, you understand technology-assisted interactions will be the primary method of JIFF programming and mentoring. These apps all have their own Terms of Use and Privacy Policies to review when accepting participation. You hereby give permission for JIFF to communicate using these systems.
